Abstract (EN)
This research is made to determine how the beginner students of violoncello learn vibrato, which is believed to be a musical expression, what kind of problems they face with in the learning process and how they can develop it.In this research it was made pre-study in concerning with the subject. It was observed that the beginner students of violoncello had some problems in producing pure voice and vibrato when sources surveyed. Besides, it was also determined that they could show incapability in their further music education.The way, followed by the aim of getting the result in this research is descriptive one. As there is a lack of resources in this field, expert opinion was sought and a computer ?based analysis was carried out to assess the use of vibrato on musical works. It was concluded that the methods and techniques were suitable for the study and the sampling reflected the universe of the thesis. It was also deduced that students should have an accepted level of capability for learning vibrato in violoncello education.
