Investigation of the uniqueness and stability of the solution of some inverse problems for the Vlasov-Poisson system

This thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction where we outline the aim and the scope of this study. In the second chapter, some essential definitions and theorems are given for investigating the solvability of problems which are considered in this thesis. The third chapter explaines the concepts of generalized function, generalized derivative and Sobolev spaces. The fourth chapter is devoted to topic of inverse and ill posed problems and some examples of such problems from different areas. In the fifth chapter, some basic notions of kinetic theory are introduced and Vlasov type systems are discussed. Finally, in the last chapter, the uniqueness and stability of the solutions of some inverse problems for the Vlasov-Poisson systems are investigated.
