Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted with a quantitative research design to examine the career awareness and life satisfaction of student-athletes playing in the volleyball super league. The general survey model and relational survey model were used in the study to analyze the relationships between the variables. The sample group was determined through voluntary participation and random selection from the super league players. During the data collection process, the "Personal Information Form," "Athlete Student Career Awareness Inventory," and "Life Satisfaction Scale" were used. The findings revealed a strong positive relationship between the life satisfaction and career awareness of the student-athletes. In other words, when the life satisfaction levels of the participants increased, their career awareness also increased, and when life satisfaction levels decreased, their career awareness decreased as well. Furthermore, it was concluded that female athletes had higher life satisfaction and overall career awareness compared to male athletes. The data collection process was carried out with the approval of the Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Social and Humanities Ethics Committee using both physical and online survey methods. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS 24 statistical software. The results aim to assess the relationship between student-athletes' career awareness and life satisfaction.
