Abstract (EN)
This research works on the motivation levels of volleyball players in terms of some variables. The sample group is consisted of 50 female volunteers who plys volleyball professionally in Ankara province.. In order to identify the demographic information of the players, personal information form included 6 questions and in order to determine the motivation level of them likert kind of motivation scale on sports included 40 questions developed by Willis (1982) and translated into Turkish by Tiryaki and Gödelek (1997). Firstly, the data was transferred to the computer programme and then transferred to SPSS programme. In the analysis of the data in this study, standard deviation, mean and variance analyze were used (ANOVA). The results were tested at p<0.05 significance level statistically. As a result of the study, significant differences couldn't be identified in favor of the female players on being closer to the success, avoiding the unsuccessful and necessity of success. (p>0.05). A significant difference was obtained on showing power. (p<0.05).
