Vural Bahadir Bayril's poetry

This thesis named as Vural Bahadır Bayrıl'ın Şiiri; Vural Bahadir, one of the important figures of the tradition-bound line of Turkish poetry after 1980, aims to reveal the poetic understanding of Bayrıl. In the first chapter, Vural Bahadır Bayrıl's life and his works were analyzed. In the second chapter, the poet's poetics was tried to be analyzed based on poems and poets by using his own works. Finally, in the third chapter, after giving the theoretical information about the historical development of the image concept, the dominant images used by Bayrıl in his poems were mentioned and the images of women, children and time were analyzed in detail with their place and importance in Turkish poetry. In addition, the types of structures used in his poetry were examined along with examples.
