Tradition in Vural Bahadır Bayrıl's poetry

In this study, where the subject of tradition was examined in the poetry of Vural Bahadır Bayrıl, the processing of traditionalism on poetry was examined. For this purpose, certain concepts were emphasized throughout the research. These concepts can be generally stated in the Turkish poetry after 1980 as tradition, culture, image and intertextuality. The place of Bayrıl's poem in the post-1980 period; in particular, the poet's perspective on the tradition was examined, taking into account his childhood and the environment he lived in. It is understood that the tradition is reflected in poems with various images and different expression techniques around the concepts of "Content and Culture". The data obtained showed that Vural Bahadır Bayrıl is trying to redesign the tradition out of its nostalgic dimension and design it according to the conditions of the day.
