Effect of web based software vitamin program to students success and attitudes in Science and Technology lesson

General purpose of this experimental research is about to what extent Web Based Software Vitamin Program affects students? success and attitudes in science and technology lesson. In the research, it is examined to what extent lessons which are taught by Web Based Software Vitamin Program affected success of the students. This research was carried out in the 2nd school terms of 2010-2011 academic year, in Fatih Elementary School in Çanakkale country, Biga district. 4th grade students are determined to be experimental and control groups. There were 20 students in experimental group and 16 students in control group.In experimental group students, ?Our Planet is Earth? named science and technology lesson was taught with Web Based Software Vitamin Program. In control group students, ?Our Planet is Earth? named science and technology lesson was taught by means of straight narrative technique, with guidebook. In the analysis of research data, t-test and two factor (F) variance analysis were used. At the end of the research, there was a significant difference between the academic success last test points in ?Our Planet is Earth? unit in favour of experimental group; however, there wasn?t any significant difference in terms of their attitudes towards science and technology lesson.
