Özet (EN)
Due to limited fossil fuels and their negatiıe impact on environment such as airpollution, acid rains and greenhouse effect, the interest on renewable energyresources has been increasing, gradually, all over the world. Wind energy is alsoan example for these renewable, clean and cheap energy resources. From 1991until the end of 2004, global installed capacity has increased from about 2 GWto over 34 GW. While these developments are going on in the leader countries ofthe world, unfortunately wind energy is noticed on late 1990?s in Turkey. Theinstalled capacity of Turkey?s wind energy has increased 9 MW in 1998 to 20MW in 2004. Technical, physical problems and connection of interconnectedsystem of the wind power plants are important aspect of these renewable energysourches. In this study, advances in wind-turbine technology and the results ofnearly two decades of research mean that the integration of wind-turbine andwind farms into electricity networks generally analyzed problems. Theproposals are presented wind energy policies of Turkey and the solution of theseproblems and integration of the wind power plants to interconnected system.Science Code : 905Key Words : Wind Energy, Interconnected SystemsPage Number : 100Adviser : Prof. Dr. M.Cengiz TAPLAMACIOĞLU
