The Religion and social structure of the Armenians in The City Elazığ during the 19th century

Mamurat?ul Aziz renders in a strategic region of East-Anatolia. The provincecovered a region in which the cities Tunceli, Erzincan, Malatya, Diyarbakir andAdıyaman partially were involved.Muslims and Armenians lived together in this area. The Armenian populationfunctioned in an active way in the state management and social life in this area like itwas in general during the period of the Ottoman Empire.
