Abstract (EN)
This study has been done with the object of discovering the characteristics of the 19 th century. First, the diwans of the poets who lived in that era have been tried to reach as for as possible. 76 poets whose diwans include kasides have been detected. Our study has been done over a total of 824 kasides that belong the these poets. The conclusions obtained have been compared with the ones of the similar studies previously done. Kaside is a tipe of versification that occupies a significant room in the Classical Turkish Literature. With this type of versification, selections of Tevhid. Miinacat, Na't, Medhiye, Mersiye, Hicviye have been shown. Most selections have been given in the type of Medhiye. İn addition, in our thesis, selections we named " other poems versified in the type of kaside " have been showing that the themes of kaside are more than these types. Love, suphisim, complaint are some of these themes. İn the first part of the dissertation, kasides have been scrutinized in respect of stylistic features and in the second part, in respect of the characteristics of the contents. Selected verses have been chosen by taking the general features of the eighteenth-century kasides and the personalities to whom they were dedicated in the consideration.
