Abstract (EN)

Mühimme notebooks are one of the notebooks in which the decisions taken in the Divan-ı Hümâyun are recorded. Copies of the edicts issued after the sultan's approval were recorded in these books. Mühimme notebooks are among the important sources in the determination of socio-economic events as well as the political and administrative structure of the period. In our study, there are provisions regarding the export ban in the books numbered 5, 6 and 7 from Mühimme books belonging to the Classical period. In the Ottoman Empire, how the export ban was realized in the conditions of the period, the reasons for which it was made and the products that were subject to the export ban were emphasized.
