Family Law in the context of the juridical records of Adana in the 18th century

This study which is prepared under 72 seriyye register books recorded by Adana courts in 18. century, classic fikh literary works, Fetva prints in that time period aim to show to deal with practices of domestic relations law encountered problems and presented solutions about these problems and reach scientific/correct information about Ottoman Family life. This study content 3 parts; Introduction, Conclusion and 3 main chapters. Introduction part is about topic, aim, methodology and sources of research and brief history of Adana, information about Judges, Governors and Nakibul esraf of Adana in 18.century. Second chapter is about marriage, third chapter is about divorce under established practices in Adana Seriyye register books.
