Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to compile words and expressions used by Turkish native speakers in their daily lives and to classify them into 14 communication fields proposed for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to be used at A1 level in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language. Field research method has been used in this study. for each communicative act in 14 communicative fields proposed for CEFR with general titles, 45 Turkish native speakers have been recorded. The frequency of words and expressions bave been calculated using "woordenteller" program. The population of the study is Turkish native speakers in Turkey and the data comes from the speech samples of 45 Turkish native speakers selected randomly. The results of the study have been used to classify sub-categories of the 14 communications fields and findings have also been classified under these specific subjects. At the end of the study, we have tried to state implications regarding the order of words and expressions to be used in learning, teaching, evaluation and material design and production at A1 level under communication fields proposed for CEFR. Further implications for teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language with a common, communicative, functional and successful approach have also been discussed.
