Abstract (EN)
Language and culture develop together. A person who learns a language has also learned the culture of that language. Pattern words have an important place in Turkish culture. This is unique reflective of Turkish culture and values. This is an issue that needs to be analyzed in detail in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. The pattern words that we saw more in verbal expressions that will be healthier in terms of language learning if this is given to the learner together with the speaking skill in teaching Turkish as a foreign language. That's why the topic of speech and pattern words in foreign language teaching should be analyzed together. Pattern words are changeable according to the situation in daily use. These words, which may vary according to the situation and the person, it should be taught to the learner by paying attention. here is the purpose; It aims to gain how it should be used against which situations and people. The study was conducted according to the scanning model, which is one of the qualitative research methods. With the studies in the literature, speaking skills and pattern words were handled together, Research questions were prepared over different contexts and people with expert academicians in the branch, and as a result of the study, the relevant contexts and situations were analyzed. In the next step, the analyzes were tabulated in line with the responses of 534 different participants, and the results were interpreted. As a result of the study, it was determined that the pattern words differ according to the context and people, and new suggestions were made for teaching books, teaching materials and further studies. It is thought that the study will guide and form a source for the studies to be made on the pattern words from now on. Keywords: Turkish vocabulary, Pattern words, Skill of speaking.
