Abstract (EN)
The theme of the thesis is `Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Maintenance Decisions in Turkey?. The primary goal of the study is to clarify and present the principles related to the recognition and enforcement of foreign maintenance decisions in Turkey, due to the Conventions and the practice of MÖHUK that is considered new in this area. Bases and procedure for recognition and enforcement in MÖHUK and Conventions have been analyzed in details evading from comparative law matters.While trying to reify the application of provisions of MÖHUK and Conventions in Turkey related to the recognition and enforcement of foreign maintenance decisions, enforcements of Supreme Court and aspects of the doctrine have been utilized in the study.
