Abstract (EN)
The main thing in language teaching is to understand the learned foreign language and to express feelings and thoughts in that language. This understanding and narration relationship is based on the four basic skills of language. It is necessary to make maximum use of all methods and techniques related to language teaching so that reading, listening, speaking and writing skills, which cannot be developed independently from each other, can be reached from A1 language level to C1+ level. Feedback, which is also related to the measurement and evaluation dimension of language teaching, also affects the motivation of the teacher and the student. In this study, an extensive literature research was conducted on feedback in teaching Turkish to foreigners, the opinions of teachers and students about feedback were taken, and the effect of feedback on student success was examined. This study, which aims to investigate the effect of feedback on the development of four basic language skills, namely reading, listening, writing and speaking, in teaching Turkish to foreigners, was designed in the nested pattern of the mixed research model. Basically, the mixed method is the acquisition of the research process structured from a problem from both qualitative and quantitative data. The data obtained can be used in a single research, sometimes in research to be developed later, or in designing with the concern of reaching generalizable recommendations for practice. In the light of the findings and comments obtained in the research consisting of five main parts, solution suggestions were made. It is considered that the results and suggestions will contribute to the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners.
