Evalvation of story books in terms of vocabulary used in teaching Turkish to foreigners: Yunus Emre Institute series of Anadolu Stories example (A1-A2)

The purpose of the study titled "Evaluate the vocabulary of storybooks used in teaching Turkish to foreigners: Yunus Emre Institute Anatolian series of Stories example (A1-A2)" is to examine the alignment of the vocabulary elements within the set of the story. The study uses document analysis from qualitative research methods. In the data collection phase, the five books in the Anatolian series of Stories were provided from the library within Bursa Uludağ University ULUTOMER. In the Findings section, stories were first transferred to the computer as page-row indexes, with the current number of pages fixed to determine the word-presence features in story books. In the second phase, the page-row directory is changed to a word index. Given the contextual attributes of words, the meanings in the Turkish Language Institution dictionary were taken and the words were defined in what context they were used. At the same time, the assigned language elements of the words have been examined. The results obtained were first created in the word type graph, then the words' meaning rankings graph, and the data in the graphs were interpreted.In addition, the word frequency of each story was studied and graphs were prepared and graphs were interpreted. In the result section, the collective graph of all storybooks is analyzed and interpreted. In the study, the story books in the series of Anatolian Stories prepared by the Yunus Emre Institute were questioned in compliance with the D-AOBM vocabulary gains and the results were interpreted and the results were intended to be an example of the new storybooks to be written.
