The use of Turkish lullabies in transferring values to foreigners for teaching Turkish

By keeping the society together, it is the values it maintains and carries forward. The transfer of values to future generations can be ensured by their preservation, compliance and internalization. Value transfer has been an issue that has been emphasized in every period and has been taken into consideration. With this study, it was aimed to reveal the effect of Turkish lullabies in the transfer of values in teaching Turkish to foreigners. For this purpose, the literature was scanned before the study, and the values obtained from scientific articles, theses, guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Turkish Education Program were compiled. The lullabies in the book "Turkish Lullabies Treasure" of Amil Çelebioğlu, which constitutes the data source of the study, are classified according to this list in terms of the values they contain. In the study, the lullabies, which are among the qualitative research methods, are analyzed with the content analysis method, and the lullabies are handled with an interpretive approach in terms of the values that are the basis of social foundations. In collecting data, these resources were used by analyzing theses published in the thesis catalog published in the Higher Education Council regarding values education, academic articles published in national and international fields, papers published in symposiums, Turkish Education Program of the Ministry of Education and values education. As a result of the analysis made: love, asylum, love of nature, manhood, patriotism, caring for family unity, respect, respect, benevolence, patience, avoiding bad habits, traditionalism, compassion, saving, hospitality, honor, sharing, responsibility 18 value has been determined. As a result of the study, it was concluded that Turkish lullabies were effective in transferring values and their suggestions were made.
