Abstract (EN)

Although, second homes have been seen in Turkey since the beginning of 20. century, it took a different turn at the end of 1950 and became clearly quantatively and evident qualitatively by 1980s. Until the 2000s natives second home demand was prominent however from these years on, by the changings of title deed and village laws, the foreigners second home demands are the most important factors shaping the cost settlements. In this process, the pressures at Turkish coastal settlements over the natural, cultural and historical defense areas, especially on the agricultural areas are increased. This pressure was mostly felt in Dalyan settlement where is in Private Environment Defense area. The aim of this study is; to investigate the effect of foreigners? second home demands to the especially physical environment in Dalyan settlement which is important with its nature, climate, history and cultural values and sensitive zones.
