Abstract (EN)

Near Field Communnication (NFC) cards have been widely used in severeal areas such as fast payment, access control and stock control. Campus automation is another area in which NFC card can be used. Especially on large campusses with thousands of studens, using the NFC cards distributed to the students, entrance and attendance control, management of the barrowed books in libraries, and payments at campuss cafeterias can be done easily and safely with less personel. For these purposes, in this research work, a campuss automation system which utilizes NFC featured mobil decives or MiFare contactless cards is porposed. The intention of the proposed automation system is to make campuss entrances faster and safer, to follow barrowed books from campuss libraryies, to maintain student attendance to the classes, and to allow students make safe and fast payments at campuss cafeterias with using physical money. With the proposed automation systems, which is a low cost system, we think that campuss operations can be speededup and become more efficient. The transcations can be done can be done safely with less personal. Keywords: Campus automation, NFC, Mobile devices, Payment systems, Smart cards
