An investigation on the image of woman in the context of mother dreams relationships in the current period Turkish cinema

In this study, in which an examination is made in the recent Turkish cinema on the axis of mother- daughter relations between the concept of motherhood and the evil woman image, it is concluded that motherhood is a construction in the last analysis, and adjectives consisting of concept sets such as sublime, sanctity and evil can be handled from different perspectives in each event and phenomenon. In the historical process, the development process of motherhood, followed by womanhood, is outlined in the literature part of the study. There is the existence of directors who question the masculine discourse in recent Turkish cinema, and moreover, who produce alternative films, in the analysis of the evil, malevolent image of women and motherhood. In this context, the films of female directors are also important because although the issue of making a film with a feminine perspective is open to discussion, it is important to at least examine the films in which the woman’s view of women is embodied.
