Abstract (EN)
First of all it seems like that only reason of the Lean Manufacturing is to reduce the costs, actually main reason of it is to submit products to the customers at the time they want by minimizing the production flow times and put on market times with improving the quality. In this study, the reasons to start Lean Manufacturing of 16 companies and the problems while adopting Lean Manufacturing have been determined by survey. There are 28 questions at the survey. There are 3 kinds of questions on the survey: multiple choices, grading according to the importance level and open to comment. According to the survey results, the most important obstacle while adopting Lean Manufacturing is that the workers show resistance to the new system. The other obstacles are ideas about not satisfying demands because of working without stocks, probability of employee firing, it is not suitable for the company to adopt Lean Manufacturing, big machines that are used for serial production are needed to change and nonexistence of a leader who is eager and capable of change the system. Since Lean Manufacturing can be achieved by attendance of all workers effectively, a properly working system can be obtained if the workers are willing to take part with the system. This is obtained by conveying Lean Manufacturing system to the workers precisely. The idea of worker firing with the Lean Manufacturing system should be prevented.
