The research in the relations between emotional labour behaviours of the personnel and their burnout level Ministry of Family and Social Policies Provincial Directorate

It is evident that emotional labour behaviours and burnout are observed in the jobs interrelated closely and intensively to humans, and it makes the research for the personnel in the Ministry of Family and Social Policies significant. Especially social service personnel, healthcare professional and caretaker personnel who has close and strong relations with petitioners show emotional labour behaviours. The personnel who works with the petitioners staying in boarding maintenance organization for 24 hours become a family of them in some way, which causes strong emotional behaviours. One of the main problems that petitioners working for emotional labour behaviours face is burnout. Defining emotional labour and burnout levels properly in a business or an institution becomes a significant step for future plans, strategy and precautions. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find out the relation between emotional labour behaviours and burnout levels of the personnel in Yalova Ministry of Family and Social Policies Provincial Directorate and subsidiaries, and to determine sensitive relations of the personnel and the petitioners and to sort out this relation and its consequences. For this purpose, emotional labour and Mashlach Burnout inventory was applied to 238 people working in the Ministry of Family and Social Policies. 221 questionnaire forms were evaluated and analyses of the questionnaires have concluded that the personnel in Yalova Family and Social Policies has showed the most effective and intimate behaviours which has the least negative results in terms of emotional labour behaviours for themselves and organization and for this reason their burnout level is low.
