Abstract (EN)

In this paper, the experimental behavior of concrete confined lateral deformations by FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polimer) was investigated. Three different concrete grades of C20, C50, C75 and two different jacket thickness of single layer, double layer and two different jacket materials of CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polimer), GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plimer) were used as the variables. An experimental study were conducted to determine mechanical behaviour of concrete confined by FRP sheets. As an experimental test results, axial stress – strain relationship were given graphicaly. The strength and ductility of concrete were significantly increased by wrapping FRP sheets. This increase was decresases with concrete strength increase. The experimental results were compared with the results of some models for wrapped concrates and the results were given graphicaly. Keywords: FRP, GFRP, Dressing, Concrete, Axial Pressure Strength.
