Abstract (EN)
One of the major necessities for humans is accommodation. We spend a big amount of our time in a closed environment and because of that human health is dependent on indoor air quality. Indoor air is being polluted by artificial and man made polluters. Some of which are caused by external elements like vehicles, industrial and home emissions as well as natural events. Residents themselves can be the cause of these polluters through their biological and physiological actions, their hobbies, occupational actions like cigarette smoke etc. In addition to these sources of pollution there are also indoor household products like furniture, coat, woodwork etc. The effects of the indoor air polluters on human health may differ from person to person. Each polluter might not have the same effect on everyone and may not develop at the same rate or intensity. In order to create the risk management of indoor air polluters one has to first define what level of polluters is tolerable. In that case risk will only occur when the polluters have exceeded the tolerable amount. Depending on the level of risk, in groups where polluters have exceeded the tolerable amount, the following steps could be taken; improvement of the building, prevention of usage without demolition or demolition of the building can be done. To prevent or to minimize the negative effects of indoor air pollution; the risk management has to be done by a technical group and has to be carried out in the appropriate manner. Keywords: ndoor air quality, indoor air polluters, the health problems caused by internal air polluters, risk processes, risk evaluation, risk management of the indoor air pollution.
