Abstract (EN)

This study examines the relationship between attention control and individual creativity levels of individuals using AI-supported visual design tools from the perspective of attention economy. In the digital age, attention is redefined as a limited and valuable cognitive resource, and creative production processes are transformed by artificial intelligence technologies. In this quantitative study conducted with 425 participants who actively use AI-supported visual design tools, a significant and positive relationship was found between attention control and individual creativity. Although education and income levels were effective on creativity, it was determined that variables such as duration of use and purpose diversity did not make a significant difference. The findings show that creative production cannot be explained only by access to technological tools, and that this process is a holistic cognitive process shaped by the individual's attention capacity, cognitive control skills and the level of strategic interaction with artificial intelligence technologies. The study contributes to the efforts to understand the productive individual profile of the digital age by integrating the interaction of artificial intelligence, attention control and individual creativity in a multi-layered theoretical framework.
