The question of 'what makes a human a human?' in artificial intelligence films: An approach from the perspective of sufism

The question of "what makes a human a human?" is a fundamental inquiry that shapes and inspires science fiction narratives. This question becomes especially significant and creates a remarkable breadth and depth of expression in artificial intelligence films. This dissertation explored how artificial intelligence films expound the question "What makes a human a human?" The fundamental aim of this exploration was to discover what these films reveal about the cognitive and ethical possibilities of human beings and to examine how they bring forth this revelation. The research is implemented by a method which has been constructed upon the principles of sufism. This method centered upon the relationship of "I and the other" and evaluated this otherness with its various faces and meanings. Cette question devient particulièrement significative et crée une ampleur et une profondeur d'expression remarquables dans les films d'intelligence artificielle. Cette thèse a exploré comment les films d'intelligence artificielle expriment la question «Qu'est-ce qui fait qu'un humain est un humain?» L'objectif fondamental de cette exploration était de découvrir ce que ces films révèlent sur les possibilités cognitives et éthiques de l'être humain et d'examiner comment ils produisent cette révélation. La recherche a été mise en œuvre par une méthode qui a été construite sur les principes du soufisme. Cette méthode était centrée sur la relation du «moi et l'autre» et évaluait cette altérité avec ses différents visages et significations.
