Abstract (EN)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an emerging field that continues to develop at a rapid pace. It consists of challenges and unexplored opportunities that require in-depth research. While AI technologies and applications have garnered attention in research, the adoption and integration of AI technologies remains largely unexplored. Despite all the progress, the real impact of critical factors on AI integration is still not fully understood, pointing to a critical gap in the literature that calls for further exploration. The main purpose of this study is to examine the organizational adaptation of AI technologies and identify the factors affecting it. To do this, Diffusion of Innovation Theory and the Technology, Organization, and Environment (TOE) Framework are applied in the research design. Using these two theories together ensures a basis for exploring adaptation process from an organizational side. Based on a comprehensive literature review, a theoretical model examined the effects of three major factors—technological, organizational, and environmental—on the adoption and application of AI. As a result of this research, positive and statistically significant relationship has been found between AI Adoption and Compatibility, Technical Capability, Managerial Support, Competition's Pressure, Vendor Partnership. The research result offers important managerial support for companies to implement AI technologies. The findings serve as a basis for further research and can be utilized by IT and AI supervisors during the implementation of Artificial Intelligence technology solutions that enhance their organization's productivity and performance.
