This thesis aims to evaluate artificial intelligence (AI) applications in the context of ethics. Since AI is a rapidly developing technology, it offers groundbreaking innovations in many fields. However, while offering these innovations, it also brings ethical problems. This study presents the ethical problems arising in the use of artificial intelligence applications and the measures that can be taken to solve them. In the thesis, the ethical problems of artificial intelligence applications are examined in line with the basic ethical principles of artificial intelligence. In particular, issues such as making fair decisions in artificial intelligence applications, privacy and protection of personal data, transparency of the algorithms produced, and responsibility for the problems arising from these technologies are focused on. The research was conducted with a qualitative method. The research was supported by a literature review. In this context, different artificial intelligence applications were analyzed and the ethical issues of these technologies were examined. As a result, this thesis evaluates approaches to the ethical use of artificial intelligence applications and provides recommendations for improving practices in this field. It is emphasized that ethical frameworks need to be strengthened for the responsible design and use of artificial intelligence applications. This study makes an important contribution to the need for ethical principles to be more present in the further development of artificial intelligence applications.
