The effects of multimedia courseware based on constructive learning theory on students academic achivement in the teaching the topic gravitation theory

The main purpose of this research is to determine the effects of computer- based method based Constructive Learning theory and classical method on academic achivement in the topic of Gravitation Theory.The study was implemented in Çukurova University Education Faculty Schools of Teacher Training Department with 53 students. The study that was carried out in first semester of 2008- 2009 educational years was completed about 4 lesson. An academic test of Gravitation Theory was prepared by researcher and used as a pretest before the instruction, as a posttest after the instruction.SPSS Ancova was used to analyse data. At the end of the study, a meaningful difference was seen on behalf of the experimented group in teaching the subject of Gravitation Theory.Keywords: Constructive Learning Theory, Computer- Based Teaching, Classical Method.
