Evaluating the constructivist learning environments by the views of the primary school teachers and school administrators (Sample of Çine)

The aim of this research is to evaluate the Constructivist learning environments by the views of the primary school teachers and school administrators. In this study, correlational research method was performed.The working group of this research consist of primary school teachers and school administrators of Çine, Aydın. In the duration of this research, constructivist learning environment scale was performed to 132 primary school teacher who constituted the quantitive group and interviews was performed with 15 school administrators who constituted the qualitative group. By the data, in this research %86,27 of 153 primary school teacher and %88,23 of 17 school administrator was being reached.Knowledge Form of Teacher, Constructivist Learning Environment Scale and Interview Form with school administrators was employed as data gathering instrument in this research. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Whitney U test and Kruskal H test were employed as quantitive data analysing; descriptive analysing was employed as qualitative data analysing.According to the findings of the research, it is fixed that there are meaningful differencies between primary teacher views about constructivist learning environments according to the graduated school and inauguration time as a teacher. Primary teachers are found almost confident about their competence in constructivist learning environments. According to the results of the research, reached by the views of the school administrators, it was fixed that school administrators need in service education about constructivism and constructivist learning environments.
