Water and thermal factors at buildings, problems that they caused, causes of these problems and suggestions about solutions

Buildings are faced with factors such as water, thermal, noise and fire. These factors cause problem for buildings, building users, countrywide, national and artificial environments. To prevent problems which caused by these factors, increase of solutions and products, intended for these problems, are observed in Turkey. But results of researches and actual problems show that firstly designers and operators, then users have not got enough information about factors that affect buildings, preventing problems or about solutions of problems. Thus, products and solutions in building sector can not be benefited by. In this research, firstly water and thermal factors that frequently cause problems in buildings are searched. What kind of water and thermal factors affecting buildings and how they affect buildings are defined. Then, problems which occur when there are no preventions to these factors are sampled. Also lacks or faults in building production process that cause problems are determined and these are discussed as the causes of problems. It is thought that prevention of the causes of problems can prevent occurrence of the problems in buildings or solve the occurring problems. Thus, the products and solutions which can be used to prevent the causes are discussed. It is known that these products and solutions exist in building sector. For this purpose, problems occurring in buildings can be prevented by these existing products and solutions. But, firstly designers and operators, then users should have enough consciousness about these subjects. As a result, we conclude that firstly designers and operators, then users should be careful about the causes of problems not to meet such problems or to solve existing problems. Also, it is defined that the causes of problems can be prevented by existing products and solutions in building sector in Turkey. But, researches should continue to make firstly designers and operators, then users conscious of these subjects.
