Abstract (EN)
This thesis presents a detailed examination of interactive typography works obtained using creative coding methods, in terms of techniques and types. Creative coding, which has started to occupy an important place at the intersection of art and technology today, allows the emergence of various innovative design approaches in the field of typography. For this reason, it has been investigated how coding skills can be integrated into the art of typography, going beyond traditional typography design techniques. This research, which started by examining the evolution of digital typography in line with technological possibilities, discussed the technical possibilities of creative coding tools and discussed how typography can be enriched with these innovative approaches. Then, by reviewing the literature and examining the case studies on the role of interaction in modern digital design, interactive typography was grouped in terms of type and the potential of future coding-based design methods was evaluated. In short, this study argues that creative coding with technical interaction possibilities should be seen as an important step in shaping the future of the world of typography and design. As a result, interactive typography works produced by creative coding were grouped according to type, their current status and potential were analyzed, and an exemplary project in this field was developed.
