Abstract (EN)

In this study, it has been dealt with the solution of a problem faced by a white goods sector company. A company that produces worldwide in the white goods sector carries its products via cardboard boxes. However, in hand-pull areas of cardboard boxes are particularly susceptible to damage during transport. These damages coming into the market especially create negative perceptions on the customers and affect the product brand in bad direction. It also causes financial loss such as visual damage or breakdown of the products during its transportation. This problem has been transformed into the problem of "Creative Problem Solving Technique (TRIZ)". The necessity of making a new design without increasing the cost of production was chosen as a solution among from the solutions proposed by the TRIZ method for the problem. The plastic hand-pull to be mounted on hand-pull are modeled as a 3D with the help of the Solidworks program with reference to the carton boxes used in the present case. The newly designed plastic part for the hand-pull area is mounted in cardboard box. The 3D solid models obtained were analyzed by ANSYS Workbench (version 18.0) which is the finite element method software. The same boundary conditions were applied in all models. It has been observed that the maximum equivalent stresses reduced by approximately 75% when compared to the carton box used in the current situation, with the new design cardboard assembly hand-pull model. In this regard, it was concluded that damages caused by tearing during transportation, especially in hand-pull areas will be removed and customer's negative perceptions and dissatisfaction will be prevented.
