In control group traditional writing studies have been done. Research data have been gathered by the application of Turkısh Course Success Test and Turkish Course Attitude Scale as pre-test and last-test..The following results have been reached according to the findings held as a result of the statistical analysis of data gathered in research:1. The meaningfull difference in the average has been seen between the last-test points the experiment group students got in Turkish Course Attitude Scale on which creative writing techniques practiced and the control group students? last-test points on which traditional writing teaching done. The experiment group?s last-attitude average is 94,05 and this is bigger than the control group?s last attitude average which is 85,67.As the result of the statistical analysis it has been seen that experimen group?s last attitude average to Turkish course has differed meaningfully (p= 0,08; p< 0,005) .2. The experiment group?s last-test success point average of Turkish Course Success Test is 16,79 and this is bigger than the control group?s last-test success point average of Turkish Course Success Test which is 9,55. But as a result of statistical analysis it has been seen that the last-test success point average of control and experiment group has not differed meaningfully (p= 0,753; p>0,05). This situation shows that the creative writing techniques applied in experiment group did not effect the students? successes in Turkish course and increase their successes in an acceptable level.3. The experiment group?s aritmetic average of words in last practice is 295 words and this is more than the control group?s aritmatic average of words in last practice which is 265. It has been seen that the control and experiment group students? aritmetic average of words has changed in the last practice, while the control group?s aritmetic average has not changed much, the aritmetic average of control group has increased 30 words. According to this the experimet group?s words in which traditional writing technique study has been done have increased and there has been recorded less increase in control group words. Creative writing studies do an important effect in developing the students? words.Key words: Turkish Education, Creative Writing Techniques, Attitude, Academic Success, Word.
