Abstract (EN)
In this study, hydroxyapatite (HAp) samples containing different amounts of Ce and Sr were synthesized by wet chemical method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and Raman spectroscopy results were supported the formation of HAp structure for all samples. It was observed that lattice parameters, crystal sizes, and crystallization were affected by the type and amount of dopants. It was observed that all the samples had diamagnetic properties. Cell viability was found to be over 80% for all samples. The samples were found to be thermally stable from room temperature to 1000 °C. Mass loss was detected in all samples in this temperature range, and this value was found to be between 1.52 and 2.46%. It was observed that the addition of Ce and Sr caused a change in the specific heat capacity. As a result of the theoretical analysis, it was found that the addition of Ce and Sr caused an increase in the density and linear absorption coefficient. It was determined that the band gap and density of states were affected by Ce and Sr doping.
