Abstract (EN)
In this study, age related distrubution of various steroid hormone receptors and ultrastructural changes in uterine tubes were aimed to be determinedIn our study, distrubution of estrogen, progesterone and FSH receptors were examined in uterine tube tissue samples of young, prepubertal, adult, premenopausal and old rats using indirect immunohistochemical methods. In addition, ultrastructural changes related to increasing age were investigated at the level of electron microscope in tissue samples taken away from same groupsIn the immunohistochemical staining, while holding of estrogen receptor was being observed on both ciliated cells and nonciliated secretory cells in the period of development, FSH-R holding was surface of epithelium in all groups. Indeed estrogen and FSH receptors holding were seen to decrease with the increasing age. It was detected that starting from young group while immunostaining of progesterone receptor was increasing in early stage of development, holding decreased as from premenopausal group and in old group it was seen in nonciliated cells of epitheliumIt was observed with electron microscopic findings that cells completed their development in epithelium of young group and in adult group activity of cells was at high level. Begining with premenopausal group apoptotic cells were seen in advancing groupsAs a result of our study, it was determined that in age groups we examined distrubution of steroid hormone receptors increased early stage of development. Although immunoreactivity reached maximum level in adult group, starting from premenopausal period it was seen to decrease in advancing groups. In electron microscopic findings in accordance with distrubution of steroid hormone the most active epithelium cells was detected in adult group. In addition, age related degeneration which was concerned with decreasing of receptor level was seen at epithelium cells. Decreasing of receptor level in increasing age groups was evaluated in accordance with cell degeneration at the level of ultrastructure.
