Abstract (EN)
In this study, an virtual laboratory which consists of generators and power electronics circuit models used in horizontal axis wind turbine systems has been developed. The labaratory have 6 toolboxes named mechanical components, electric machinery, power electronics, source and measurements, control and load with 22 models. Models have been designed with the help of Matlab/Simulink program and they can be used independently from each other. In order to observe simulation results, user select the required models in the library and move them to new simulink page, then enter the parameter by using parameter dialog boxes. Implemented study can be used not only for simulation and analyzing of wind turbine systems but also as a auxiliary tool for education of wind turbine systems.Key Words : Wind turbines, generator, power electronics, simulation tool.
