The effect of investment behavior and covıd-19 process on investment results

Abstract (EN)

Making or not making investment decisions for businesses has a critical impact on the profitability, competitiveness and continuity of companies. The time, magnitude, and qualification of the investment also specify success of the investment. While making a investment decision, behavioral factors as well as profitability and competitiveness are discussed. However, the Covid-19 pandemic in the World is expected to have an impact on the economic order and on the investment decisions and investment results made in this process. In this study, in Turkey 6,000 businesses that ascertained by random sampling were reached with survey technique and were examined valid 399 business data. The data that obtained in the survey were evaluated and interpreted by analyzing through SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 programs. As a result of analysis, it was seen that investment behaviours had a positive effect on perception of investment results, the Covid-19 process had a negative effect on the perception of the investment results and the Covid-19 process did not have a regulatory effect on the relationship between investment behaviours and investment results.
