Analysis of investment projects and the effect of project risks on investment: Execution of the heating

Because of the limited energy sources in the world, with modern life, it has a great importance notably for developing countries such as welfare, economic development, wealth token, investment, industrialization, being political and regional power. Along with being foreing dependent on energy of Turkey, in terms of the firms operating in Turkey, it presents quite great importance that being used scarce resources in hand and energy, the most important element of scarce resources, efficiently and being transferred to the right investment projects which will provide added value with. In the first sections of this study,it is included not only general informing about available and used energy resources and fuel in Turkey and in the world,heating elements but also basic information about planning, feasibility study, financing and evaluation of investment projects.The subject is supported by samples summarizing the topic in project evaluation part. In the final section of the study,as part of an area heating investment project,in a pilot firm,an area heating investment project evaluation done with different kind of energy fuel and heating element has been done. As a result of the study, the comparison of the investment project done with the different fuel and heating elements according to the project valuation methods has been done. At the same time, a survey has been done on project risks of the heating system investment projects at firms operating in different sectors in Marmara region of Turkey and the elements effecting the decision of the choice. It has been observed that different energy fuels and heating elements are used in different industries in the industry within the scope of the obtained findings.The study provides basic information for those interested in learning about investment projects and area heating investment projects, as well as the right heating element and fuel type selection.
