Abstract (EN)

The purpose of incentive system, taken together with the process of historical research and implementation across the world and in Turkey, is the socio-economic study of the urban scale based on Malatya case. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the incentive processes in Malatya by focusing on the 2012-2019 period. Secondary data sources were used in the study. In the light of the data showing the economic and social changes between 2012-2019, the incentive investments of Malatya during these dates were evaluated and it was determined that the incentive investments were in line with the city plans and created increases in investment and employment. However, the incentive processes did not have a serious effect on the city's economic and social indicators. The study, in the process of promoting the economy by addressing the political level on the basis of protectionism and interventionism, the process of promoting the process of evaluating the Tanzimat reforms in Turkey today along with political and economic thought of every period is different from other studies.
