Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis study is to analyze and evaluate the relationship between the strategic decisions and investment behaviors of the investors in local markets from a behavioral finance perspective. The study covers a thorough literature review and employs a questionnaire for the research. Organized in three main chapters, the first covers the theoretical background reviewing the basic concepts of behavioural finance and strategic management and analysing local investor types and investors' behaviours in local markets in the literature. The second chapter discusses the behavioural finance theories and explains previous theoretical studies related to the thesis subject based on the Kahneman and Tversky's prospect theory followed by an analysis of factors affecting human psychology in light of the concepts discussed earlier in the study. Finally in the third chapter, which is the chapter dealing with the research, a review of the study and the effects of the relationship between financial behaviours and strategic decisions in local markets are discussed and the impact of these results is presented.
