Rural urban conflict in Yavuz Turgul films

In this study, Yavuz Turgul cinema, the conflict between the urban and rural was handled in account considering the social conditions of the period. The participation of Yavuz Turgul into cinema has been examined in the context of Arzu Film School and Ertem Eğilmez Effect. The way in which the changing socio - cultural structure with the 1980 's reflected in Yavuz Turgul' s films was evaluated within the framework of social and cultural structure. In this context, the narrative structure and thematic features of six films written and directed by Turgul as auteur director were examined and In this context, the dualities that story structure were established in the films were analyzed within the context of rural - urban, east - west, old - new conflict. Turgul that we can easily see the conditions of the period in the films is an important place in terms of the Turkish cinema.
