Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to examine the prediction level of metacognition, mindfulness and psychological flexibility to generalized anxiety symptoms. The research was conducted with the predictive correlation method based on relational screening, which is one of the quantitative research methods. Convenience sampling method, one of the non-random sampling methods, was used. 634 people between the ages of 18-65 participated in the study; "Metacognition Questionnaire -30 (MCQ-30), Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), Acceptance and Commitment Questionnaire-2 (AAQ-2) and Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 Scale (GAD-7)" were applied. Findings obtained as a result of the analyzes showed that metacognition, mindfulness and psychological flexibility were associated with generalized anxiety symptoms and together predicted 49.9% of generalized anxiety symptoms. The results of the research were discussed within the framework of the relevant literature and suggestions were made for future studies.
