Abstract (EN)
Autism is at the very beginning of general growth problems. Beginning at very young ages, otizmin emerges from the age of two. Autism manifests itself in the form of shutting down, moving away from real and social life, and avoiding communication. Although the exact reasons of autism are unknown, according to the researches and expert opinions they have made; autism may be inherited, or it may also occur due to a number of events that occur before, during, and after birth. This disorder, which effects personal and family life basically, is trying to intensify with different methods in recent years. It is one of these methods that is well known to have a positive effect on developmental disability. It is observed that recent studies on the determination of sport effect have increased. The purpose of this study is to determine the problem behaviors in children who have autism and to investigate the healing effect of the sport in reducing these problem behaviors. In this study, one group pre-trial-sontest method was used as a method of pre-trial methods. The study included 34 children between 7-13 years of age who were diagnosed with common developmental disorders such as autism, atypical autism, and cognitive developmental retardation. Whether there is a meaningful difference between the average of the scores obtained from the Problem Behavior Checklist (SDKL) (pre-test) applied before participating in children's sports activities and the average of the scores obtained from the SDKL after participating in sports activities, The data obtained in order to determine whether the difference between the scores obtained from the last test differ according to sex, age, school type, age at diagnosis and education level of mother and father were analyzed with SPSS program and ANOVA test was applied with dependent sample t test. When the results were examined, it was determined that sportive activity resulted in a significant decrease in SDL (p=0.000), "inertia" (p=0.000), "repetitive behaviors" (p=0.003) and "other behaviors" (p=0.000) subscales of SDL (p = 0.003) but did not differ significantly in the lower dimension of "damaging behaviors" (p = 0.323). Although participation in the sports program in terms of gender of children (p=0,800), mother (p=0,155) and father (p=0,117) decreased in SDK scores, there was no difference between them, but there was a significant decrease in SDKL scores in both the normal school and the students attending the training program. As a result, it has been found that sports can contribute positively to the reduction of stereotypic behavior, especially in children with autism and pervasive developmental disorder. The effects of the sport program on the problematic behaviors in SDL were determined to be related to the type of school in which it was conducted, regardless of gender, age, diagnosis age and parental education variables
