Risk management in software projects

In this study, the risk management in the software projects and management of the software projects have been discussed which will make contribution to the development of the computer software projects. At the meantime, the types of software projects and risks have been examined and it has been shown the productivity of studies executed and which project stage it has been focused on. It has been emphasized that the risk management is one of the prominent issues in the software projects and it has been observed that more attention should have been paid to the issue and the risk studies executed should have been focused on the earlier stages. Falling of studies mostly into the theoretical coverage has made the risk definition and risk minimizing process passive in the software. Some findings and recommendations have been listed as a result of study.
