Abstract (EN)

In this study, Compton scattering differential cross-section of YBa2Cu3O7 superconductor have been measured at scattering angles 120, 125, 130, 135 and 140. At appropriate geometry, the sample has been irradiated by 50 mCi 241Am radioisotope source that emitting 59,54 keV gamma rays. Emitted characteristic K X-rays from the sample, have been determinated at 59.54 keV by using HPGe detector of which resolution is 160 eV. For the determination of the detector yield, foils at %99,9 purity have been used. Due to the scarcity of the literature on the empirical studies of the scattering cross-section of YBa2Cu3O7 superconductor, it was impossible to check our results. Theoretical values were compared with the experimental ones. In comparison with the theoretical values and experimental values were found to be compatible within the error limits. We think that this work will fill this lack. Key Words: YBa2Cu3O7 superconductor, Compton scattering, differantial crosssection.
