Özet (EN)
Conceptual design is the most critical phase of engineering design process. This is because that it has a direct effect on innovation and the product costs. However, the existing design software systems have usually served embodiment and detail phases. These systems often serve the aims of drawing, analysis, simulation in the design process. We envision that new generation CAD/E systems mainly will built on innovative conceptual design process. An innovative conceptual design process must be developed in a comprehensive, systematic, inventive and collaborative structure. But, actual works being conducted on this subject do not still include all aspects of the innovative conceptual design. Therefore, they are not sufficient to design innovative products. To overcome the challenge, in the dissertation we aim to develop a new innovative conceptual design process. This model consists of Pahl and Beitz?s conceptual design approach, QFD, TRIZ and SysML. To prove the efficiency and the reliability of this model, some design case studies are carried out. As a result high level innovative solutions are obtained. Also all design outputs are modeled by SysML diagrams. We believe that these models can be a robust base for the development of new generation CAD/E systems. Key Words : Conceptual design, SysML, QFD, TRIZ, innovative design
