Abstract (EN)
A new generalized hyperbolic non-Newtonian fluid model first proposed by Al-Zahrani is applied tospecial flow geometries. Firstly, considering in-pipe flow, an analytical solution is proposed.Secondly, the analytical solution fort he flow between two parallel plates. For the first two cases, analyticalsolutions are presented in integral forms and the velocity profiles and discharges are calculated bynumerically evaluating the integrals. Changes of velocities and discharges with the power index n ofthe model are analyzed. Finally, flow between rotating cylinders is considered. For this type of flow, the differential equation is solved by Runge-Kutta method combined with shooting. Effects of differentvalues of rotation ratios and diameter ratios of two cylinders and power index n are discussed. Keywords : Hyperbolic Non-Newtonian Fluid, Pipe Flow, Parallel Plate Flow, Flow between RotatingCylindersI
