Abstract (EN)

In this study, Al 7039 alloy matrix phase, which is preferred as an armor material, has been used to perform functional graduated composite production. Initially, the production stages of the matrix material were examined and the parameters required for reproduction by the casting method were determined. Using the same parameters, SiC, Al2O3 and B4C particles with an average size of 3-10 µm were reinforced at different volume ratios to the Al 7039 alloy matrix by stir casting method. Three plates, which were produced by reinforcing different particles in different proportions, were placed in the specially prepared mold after the surface cleaning processes and kept in the oven until they reached approximately 20 % liquid and 80% solid consistency. After pressure was applied to the heated composite materials in the mold, cooling was carried out at different stages. The production was completed by applying hot forging and heat treatment to the composite sheet which has become stratified. Produced hybrid characterized layer composite by joining with friction stir welding with each other, weld ability was investigation. After the necessary experiments, the data were interpreted and compared.
